Lincoln City Radio is a Community Radio Station for the City of Lincoln. We began broadcasting on 4th May 2010 and are currently building our links with the local community. If you’d like to help the station, in front of or behind the microphone, then get in touch.
We also have a great range of advertising packages aimed squarely at City businesses. Please contact us for more information about what LCR can do for your business.
Tune into us on your radio on 103.6 FM and look out for LCR on your digital display, especially in the car!
How we work
Lincoln City Radio station is staffed entirely by volunteers and broadcasts to an audience of people aged 50 years plus.
We broadcast 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, 52 weeks per year. We are funded partially by advertising and by grants and donations.
Apart from popular music from the 1920’s to 1990 we have specialist music programmes each evening and weekends which cater for The Blues; Rock; Folk; Classical; Rock and Roll; Soul; Jazz; Sixties; Seventies and Eighties; Instrumental and Americana.
We have a growing audience in the Lincoln (UK) area and an ever growing online audience.
As a non-profit organisation, we are always incredibly grateful for any donation that is gifted to us. Some of the studio equipment we use is in desperate need of replacement, and any donation, no matter how small, helps to keep us on air.
We are currently in the process of creating an easy way for people to make donations to the station, but, in the meantime, if you would like to make a donation, we are happy to accept cash or a cheque, made payable to Lincoln City Radio.
